Headed out of Fairbanks around 11:30am. Was hoping my package from home would show up but it didn’t. Having the Post Office forward it to Anchorage for us, hopefully it will show up there. We had a real short drive, not due into Denali until Sunday so we drove for 2/12 hours then stopped for the day. It was a pretty good sized RV Park that we almost had all to ourselves, away from the water. It has the Nenana River running by it but the mosquitoes were ridiculous. They had WiFi so Dave down loaded some Geo Caches. After setting up we went hunting for the Caches. Wouldn’t you know they were either by the water or in wooded areas that had Bear Poop. We found 2 out of 4 and one of them had a travelling bug in it so we took it. The owner of the Cache wants the bug to end up somewhere in Canada. When we leave Alaska and back into Canada we will find another Geo Cache and leave it there. When we got back we set-up our mosquito tent so we could sit outside and relax without getting eaten alive. I’m using my spray stuff like crazy and only got a couple bites. The body isn’t reacting like it was so maybe I’m getting immune to the bites. Dave needs to starting really using the spray because they are biting him.
