6/8 Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park

We got on the road around 7:50am. The sun was shining and it was nice and warm. Another pretty drive, green everywhere you look. The count today was 7 Stone Sheep, 2 moose, 2  Bison, 3 black bears and 1 deer. One of the black bears we saw was on the side of the road so we pulled over and got close up pictures of him, if I stuck my arm out the window I could almost touch him/her. We made a pit stop at Tetsa River for their Famous cinnamon buns, it was warm with melted butter, yum yum.  We got to Liard Hot Springs around 12:45, got set up, as best we could since they have no hook ups, then walked to the Hot Springs. When they say hot they mean hot but it sure did feel good. Dave went into the lower spring, which was cooler and sat under the little waterfall that was running from the hotter springs. It really relaxed his shoulders. After the hot springs we went driving around in the jeep to find wildlife, no such luck. We even went off roading but would end up no where.  So it was back to the RV to write the blog, Dave is reading, relaxing and napping. Tomorrow we should be to Watson Lake where we will have internet again.
