June 3, "The Adventure has begun"

We got to the Canada Border, at Sumas, around 10:30am.

We were prepared for being pulled over and getting inspected. The alcohol was stashed away in our hollow wall, a stash place that was put in years ago. Dave wouldn't let me buy any fresh fruits or vegetables before we left because that isn't allowed across the border. We pulled up to the check point, gave them our passports, the guy talked to Dave about where we were going, how long we would be gone, did we have any friends or relatives we were meeting. Then asked Dave about his job, Dave said retired. They talked a little about Dave working for the DOD, then he asked if we really could live in Florida and not own a gun. Dave said yes, but we mostly hung around AZ and it was really hard not to live there and not own a gun. The guy gave us the passports back and said have a safe and enjoyable trip. Never asked anything about booze, fruits, vegetables or anything else, just dam GUNS!
Anyway, lets move on. We had an amazing drive, the sites were beautiful. We ran into rain, saw snow, lots of trees then there were none.

We saw waterfalls, that were amazing. We were following the Fraser River the whole time. Bridal Falls was really neat too see. We stopped at Hells Gates Airtram, a nice little touring place. If you wanted to take the tram it was $20 each, a little steep for taking the tram down to their restaurant and gift shop, since that's really all the time we had. We took pictures of the waterfalls and walked around, I went to the gift shop and got a magnet, since that is what I am collecting now, to hang on the AZ refrig. when we get back home.
We stopped in Clinton, BC for the night, we did a 5/6 hour drive that was enough for one day. As we pulled into the RV park about 5 more rigs pulled in right after us. We have talked to one, so far, and they are full time RVer's, in a 5th wheel and on their way to Alaska too. The RV park we stopped at has an "all you can eat" BBQ, but I had taken chicken out for dinner, so we aren't joining the others. (got to save $ somewhere) We walked around the small town of Clinton, cooked dinner and relaxed after the drive we had. Tomorrow on to Prince George where we plan on staying a couple nights.
